Greater Southwestern Group
Greater Southwestern Group is a Greater Southwestern Group Inc Company. It is a multi-divisional company providing products and services various industries. Below are the divisions and their offerings:
GSWG IT: Providing Managed IT solutions to Small/Medium Business (SMB). As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), we provide a full suite of products and services geared towards keeping businesses connected and protected. A small list of what we offer:

GSWG Phone: VOIP solutions for your Business providing value rich solutions for communication on one platform. Unifying your communication solutions providing, Voice, chat, and video in one.
GSWG Datacom: Data Communication for businesses looking to wire their office for the first time or need to upgrade and install additional wiring to their existing infrastructure. We also install network racks and cabinets for those wires to have a place to call home.

PRESIDENT - THOMAS PAPANTONIS
Graduated in 2007 from St. Clair College’s Computer Networking Technologist Program. From there I started my IT career, but it wasn’t the way I had expected. I thought to myself, some experience in the field before going full steam into the entrepreneurial world would be a good idea. Times were slow in the region and full time work to gai
Graduated in 2007 from St. Clair College’s Computer Networking Technologist Program. From there I started my IT career, but it wasn’t the way I had expected. I thought to myself, some experience in the field before going full steam into the entrepreneurial world would be a good idea. Times were slow in the region and full time work to gain experience was hard to come by. So a career of contract jobs began. Three months on, four months off, six months on, 4 months off, etc.
In May 2010 I left the region for an opportunity that couldn’t be passed up. Packed my life along with my then fiancé (now wife) and moved.
In 2012 we moved back for personal reasons and returned to much of the same contract to contract. I decided enough was enough I would push my dream and build my business. It hasn’t been easy, there have been good years and bad years. I’ve made mistakes and stretched myself past my limits.
Greater Southwestern Group has evolved over the years from when I started as a sole proprietor back in 2005, under the name Titan Electronics.
To leave off with some interesting facts about me:
- Married and I have 2 beautiful daughters and a dog.
- I’m a Toronto Maple Leafs fan (Insert punch lines here)
- As a member of the Greek Community here in Windsor. I’m honored that in 2020 for the first time I’ll be in the community council. I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the council and the community as we work together for continued growth here in the city.

How it Started...
In 2005 everything started with an idea to provide a better customer experience. To be open, honest and transparent with customer and to educate rather then just sell.
Titan Electronics was born as a Sole Proprietor
Moving Forward
In August 2008 we incorporated with Titan Entity Firms Inc. , to become Titan Electronics a Division of Titan Entity Firms Inc.
At the same time we decided to open a store front that same month, only to open the weekend before the Global Recession was announced. We kept the doors open until February of 2009.
New Names, Same Services and a New Challenge
In 2013, Titan Entity Firms Inc. was renamed M L P Holdings Inc. Titan Electronics was renamed to MLP Technologies, and the after some discussion and due to an interest in real estate by our fearless leader PGP Properties a property management company was formed.
With a decision to shift focus back to technology, it was decided that operations for PGP Properties would wind down. What does the future hold for real estate for us? Who knows, we'll just have to wait and see.
A decision made earlier then expected.
For many reasons we knew that we'd be going through a rename and rebrand one more time, but never thought it would be this soon.
In 2021 with all the pandemic time to work on building the company with the right products and services to offer customers, the right partners to provide them, and the right spark to say "hey the time is now", we decided the time was right to make that final move.
How its Going...
As of August 2021 we combined M L P Holdings Inc. and MLP Technologies under one name. Greater Southwestern Group.
The story as to how this name came to be is interesting itself, but the wave of ideas once the name came to be will hopefully be what not just grows Greater Southwestern Group today but tomorrow as well.
